Paris Transformation is an annual summer school, organised since 2022, which seeks to capture the changes taking place in Paris and its metropolis. It approaches Paris as an extraordinary laboratory offering a range of analytical perspectives on the changes that characterise the contemporary city.

For  one week, international students are immersed in Paris, with a unique concept :  in the mornings, they attend seminars, presented by leading specialists on the city in general and on the theme of the summer school, while In the afternoons, they visit the places that provide the most striking examples of how Paris has evolved. Evening activities complete the programme.

The summer school is made possible by a unique partnership between academic organisers from three prestigious academic institutions (the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, the Paris Malaquais School of Architecture and the Technical University of Crete) and the Hellenic Foundation of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris. Participants in the summer school are accommodated in renovated rooms with every comfort, in a historic residence set in the heart of a 34-hectare urban park.
